A-England Saint George

Hello hello :)

After the amazing holographic Orly Mirrorball, I was still quite in the mood to stare at more holographic goodness, so I pulled out A-England Saint George. It's not the most holographic polish I own - actually it's a lot more subtle in comparison to other shades - but it's a beautiful shade of dark green ♥

Purple, with a sprinkling of gold & glitter

Hi everyone.

I pulled out my favourite colour to wear the other day and decided to mix in a little bit of gold and glitter into the final look.

OPI Do you lilac it was used as the main purple. Nicole by OPI Inner sparkle, Hello Kitty Golden girl and A-England Princess Tears were added to complement the shade :)

A-England Tristam ♥

Hello ladies. It's a little sad that I always skim over my A-England nail polishes- how is it possible that I can forget how gorgeous these holographic polishes are? Whenever I pull one out to wear, I am instantly reminded of its beauty.

Blue and gold skittles

Hello everyone :) I was in the mood for another blue skittle but wanted to add an accent to it so I went with a blue and gold skittle. And a touch of holographic polish too :P

Pinky & index: Two coats of OPI OPI...Eurso Euro. I then layered two coats of Australis Speck-tacular over it.
Ring: Two coats of A-England Tristam. And of course, there was no sun when I wore this :(
Middle: Three coats of Hello Kitty Golden girl.
Thumb: Two coats of OPI...Eurso Euro. Stamped with BM-311 and Golden girl.

Do you find that you get cloudy skies whenever you pull out a holographic polish to wear? Or does it only happen to me? :P

Shattered Saint George

Hi ladies! I've been wanting to use the shatter design on BM-208 for awhile now so what better time than now :) I applied two coats of A-England Saint George onto my nails. I then took BM-208 and Rimmel Your majesty and stamped the shattered design. As you can see in my photos, the holo isn't as apparent in Saint George, but it's a pretty nail polish all the same ♥

Holographic gradient

Hi ladies~ My apologies for the lack of posts - I'm still adjusting to full time work :) This manicure was inspired by this pin. Mine didn't turn out as great, oh well! I started off with two coats of A-England Tristam on all my nails, except for my ring finger. I created a blue gradient using Ulta3 lily white and spring shower before taping it off with some striping tape and applying a thick coat of Tristam over it.

Of course, whenever I pull a holographic nail polish out to wear, I don't get any sun! The photo below was taken with flash to show off the holo :)

Tristam stamped

Hello! Despite loving the look of A-England Tristam, I was itching to stamp over it. I'm still pretty new to stamping so this is no where near perfect but I still quite liked the end result! Stamped with fauxnad m69 and Rimmel Your majesty, my favourite silver stamping polish :D

A-England Tristam

Hello everyone! I'm really sorry about the sporadic posting lately, Uni work is piling up and I just don't have the time to change my manicures as often any more. Goodness knows how long I've been wearing them! Anyway, have some holographic yumminess to make up for the lack of posts! This is two coats of A-England Tristam.

A leopard printed dragon

Hi everyone~ I was lacking inspiration awhile ago and so decided to try out my holo leopard look which I had previously shown here. I went with A-England Dragon as the base and then used my nail art brushes for the white, black and silver glitter nail polishes. For the leopard spots, I used OPI Just spotted the lizard. I'm not sure I dig the look this time though.

Sorry for the messy polish at my cuticles too - I didn't realise it looked so bad on macro ><

Some sun photos for the holographic goodness to be brought out! I need to wear Dragon again on its own to enjoy it more :)

A-England Saint George

Hello hello :) I have another A-England pretty today, it's Saint George from The Legends collection. Let me start off by saying this - even though it's not the most holo of the polishes in the collection (that I have), its opaque nature really makes up for it. I only applied one coat in the photos below and just look at the awesome coverage! And even though it's so opaque, it doesn't stain! Yep, you read correctly, this baby doesn't stain! :D

saint george1

saint george2

saint george3

If I had applied one more coat, I'm sure it would have added a little more holo to the finished look.

Are you as in love with the polishes in this collection as I am? :)

A-England Princess Tears

Hi ladies~I have such a beauty to show you all today! Despite being a little late to jump onto the A-England nail polish bandwagon, I'm really glad to have finally hoped onto it! I did show a little teaser of the polishes I bought awhile ago - I decided to purchase three polishes from the recent A-England The Legends collection, and one more from The Mythicals collection. First up today though, is Princess Tears from The Legends collection.

I applied two coats of this pretty onto my nails. It has a really strong holo and even in dim, indoor lighting I can see this polish dancing on my nails. LOVE ♥ This beauty also has a slight duochrome effect to pink and green, which I was unable to capture well. The original shade is really gorgeous too - a greyed lilac? Yes please <3

These A-England polishes are my first 'expensive' nail polishes since I don't normally like to spend over $10 on a bottle of polish. Definitely a splurge for me but I'm loving it :)

My new A-England pretties ♥

Hi ladies~I received some lovely nail mail yesterday; my A-England nail polishes arrived! I'm super excited to try them out, they're all holographic yumminess.

I've totally jumped onto the A-England bandwagon and I don't think I'll be regretting it :D

Any requests for polishes you wish to see first? :)
