Studded, neutral and black

Hello hello~ Hands up if you're loving the stud trend right now! *waves hands in the air* I feel like almost ever second manicure idea I think of includes some sort of stud accessory haha. Today's post is another one which features these awesome 3D accessories.

Pinky: Two coats of Orly Matte vinyl.
Ring: Two coats of OPI Did you 'ear about Van Gough?
Middle: Ulta3 black satin and Did you 'ear about Van Gough? on half the nail. I then took some gold studs and applied them down the middle.
Index: Two coats of Did you 'ear about Van Gough? and then layered with Ozotic 905.
Thumb: two coats of Did you 'ear about Van Gough?. I then applied black satin down the middle of the nail and added some larger silver square studs over it.

A milky glitter sandwich :)

Hey there! I decided to pull out OPI  Don't burst my bubble to wear the other day and wanted to create a milky glitter sandwich with it. Spying Nicole by OPI Confetti fun nearby, I decided to use it ;) I just adore this pretty glitter sandwich ♥♥

Essence Me & My Ice-cream pastel gradient

Hi ladies! I don't know about you, but when I think of spring and ice cream, I immediately think of pastel shades. Which is why I created a gradient look with the four new shades from Essence's Me & My Ice-cream collection over a white base. In order from the cuticle to the tips - Ice, ice baby, Icylicious, Always in my mint and Ben & cherries.

I really love how this turned out in real life; it's such a pity the photos really washed out the colour. And of course, when I try to adjust it, it makes my fingers look super tanned.

Have you tried a gradient before? What are your go to pastel shades?

Green with Envy with this layering!

Hello everyone :) Another lame title aside, here is Orly Green with envy layered with OPI Pirouette my whistle. I've always layered the glitter over lighter and more neutral shades but I'm loving the look of it over the brighter colours! I so need to play with more layering combinations with this glitter ;)

Shopping the stash: E for Essence

Hi ladies! I've been meaning to pull out Essence Choose me to wear again for some time, so this series presented me with the perfect opportunity to do so. I applied two coats of the pretty polish and topped it off with a matte top coat. Can I just say wow? The beautiful golden flecks become really apparent with the matte finish :)

Shopping the Stash: C & D for China Glaze & Dazzle Dry

Hello hello~ First up, I'm really in love with my new layout :) I didn't like the way my photos were stretched in the previous template so I had been looking for some time...thanks to my picky nature, the change has only happened now :P

Anyway, onto the nails! This is two coats of Dazzle Dry Anticipation layered with China Glaze Bling it on. The glitter is more of a blurple but in my photos, it's turned out more blue than purple.

Shopping the Stash: B for B collection by Bloom

Hello~ :) Next up on this series is a nail polish by another Australian brand - B collection by Bloom. Tel Aviv, what can I not love about you?! It's a wonderful dark blue with the most beautiful shimmer which comes to life under direct light. Too bad I didn't manage to capture one under the sun, but isn't it still so pretty under natural light? ^^

Shopping the Stash: A for Australis

Hi ladies :) Awhile back, I was in a huge nail slump so I decided to revisit my stash and pull out some polishes to wear as plain notds again. I had the dilemma of where to start though, so in the end I decided to begin with 'A' and work all the way through the alphabet. As a result, I've started a 'Shopping the Stash' tag, which will be put to use when I'm at lost with what to wear on my nails :)

Today's post features Australian brand Australis and the beautiful Vampy. It's a gorgeous raspberry shade with shimmer, giving it lots of depth.

I'm hoping I'll be able to finish Shopping the Stash soon, but at the end of the day, it's only for when I'm lacking inspiration...so maybe not too often! :P

Do you revisit your stash often?

Thanks for reading.

Green zebra print

Hi ladies! My apologies for the lack of posts recently, I've been really lacking nail inspiration lately and it's also affected my motivation to post on the blog. Hopefully this will pass over soon since I still love polishing my nails :)

This is two coats of OPI Thanks a windmillion stamped with China Glaze Tongue & chic. You can check out my review post of the other polishes from the Autumn Nights collection here.

I've actually just edited a whole bunch of photos; they just need an accompanying post, so hopefully they'll be appearing soon! :)

Swatches and review: China Glaze Autumn Nights collection

Hi ladies~ :) Whilst it is really warming up here in Australia at the moment (yay for spring!), I have some pretty autumn shades to share with you today (because who wears nail polish according to season anyway... shhhh!). Behold, half of China Glaze Autumn Nights collection!

I'm going to start off by saying that the the nail polishes I have are all amazingly opaque; in fact, I only applied one coat for all the swatches, except for two. That will be noted below. I've already tried stamping with one of the polishes which you'll see in an upcoming post :)

Queen B, a pretty crème blurple. It's dark and dusty and actually leans a little too blue in my photos but it's gorgeous. Two coats, only because I stuffed up the first coat.

queen b

The next three shades have a fine shimmer finish.

Tongue & chic is a gorgeous deep teal shade.

tongue & chic

Red-y & willing, a pretty red shimmer. Nothing too unique about it, but it's a nice polish to get if you're just starting out in your nail polish obsession, or for girls like me, trying to build the red in their stash ;)

red-y & willing

Don't make me wine. Like the name states, a wine shade. Again, nothing unique and I'm sure there are dupes out there but for me, it's unique to my stash.

And lastly, the two dense foil shades.

Goldie but goodie is a darkened gold shade. Very pretty!

Rendezvous with you. Of course, I save my favourite (and best!) for last :P This one is a stunning purple foil ♥ It actually reminds me of OPI Lincoln park after dark suede but a glossy version of it. I might have to do a comparison of them soon!

All in all, I don't think this is a super unique collection for ladies with large nail polish collections. But if you're only just starting out or a fan of stamping, I would definitely recommend picking up some of these shades!

What are your picks?
