Pink roses

Hello there! :) I did these pink roses a while back so my memory's a bit rusty in terms on the polishes used - I'll try my best though. I applied two coats of OPI My very first knockwurst as a base, and then added a glitter gradient on my index and pinky using OPI You pink too much. I painted on some roses on my middle nail using OPI Hey baby, Australis Sitting on a cloud and Misa Dirty, Sexy, Money. I took my dotting tool and Sitting on a cloud for the dots on my ring finger.

Sparkly, cat nails :)

Hi ladies! Here is another manicure I put together using Bundle Monster's newest plate collection. I started with two coats of OPI My vampire is buff - a gorgeous off white shade which I can't stop reaching for! I stamped the design from BM-412 with Ulta3 black satin and then added some glitter using Australis Carnivale chaos. Finish off with some studs and voilà :)

cat and sparkles

I'm really proud of the way it turned out and adore how the rainbow glitters stood out against the clean base shade. What do you think of this look?

Essence Me & My Ice-cream pastel gradient

Hi ladies! I don't know about you, but when I think of spring and ice cream, I immediately think of pastel shades. Which is why I created a gradient look with the four new shades from Essence's Me & My Ice-cream collection over a white base. In order from the cuticle to the tips - Ice, ice baby, Icylicious, Always in my mint and Ben & cherries.

I really love how this turned out in real life; it's such a pity the photos really washed out the colour. And of course, when I try to adjust it, it makes my fingers look super tanned.

Have you tried a gradient before? What are your go to pastel shades?

Gold and silver gradient leaves

Hello everyone :) When I first saw Mimi's gorgeous Taped neon gradient leaves, I knew I would have to give this a go myself. I decided to mix this look up with some black for a chic and shimmery look ♥

Pinky & index: Two coats of Ulta3 black satin and decorated with silver and gold studs.
Ring: Two coats of black satin. I then taped it off for a silver and gold gradient using OPI Haven't the foggiest and Hello Kitty Golden girl.
Middle: Two coats of Golden girl.
Thumb: Two coats of Haven't the foggiest Can I just mention that I'm in love with this dense silver foil?! Definitely jumped up the list and become my favourite silver ♥ You can check out my full review of it here, along with the rest of the San Francisco collection.

It's a shame the gradient didn't turn out so well in the photos, it was definitely more apparent in real life. I really loved the look of this manicure though - it's always so fun to find 'chic' ways to wear black, especially for work!

Do you like to wear black nail polish? Would you wear it to work?

Spam post: A mixture of older and newer manicures

Hi ladies! This post really has some old manicures - I think the oldest one comes from December 2012 ;) It's picture heavy so I'll just get right into it.

OPI Siberian nights at the tips with Essence Make it golden.

I honestly don't remember the pink polish I used in this manicure, sorry! In my defence, this one was definitely one from December last year ^^" Stamping was from fauxnad plate m64.

Festive looking red and gold

Hello everyone~ I'm rather short on words today so I'll get straight into the manicure :) I started with two coats of Sportsgirl Tomato. On my index and pinky, I applied a glitter gradient using Essence Make it golden. For my ring, I layered a coat of Zoya Gloria. On my middle finger and thumb, I stamped with fauxnad m79 and a black polish. I took a dotting tool and Hello Kitty Golden girl to create some gold accents on my middle finger and some small steel balls for my thumb.

Even though I don't usually wear reds, I really liked the way this turned out :) Actually, this kind of reminds me of a Chinese New Year themed manicure...will have to keep this in mind ;) What are your thoughts?

Don't forget to like Polish Infatuated on facebook as well ^^

Some purple, glitter and cloud nails

Hi everyone :) Hmm, throw in some gold too, while you're at it. I decided against adding that to the already long title :P

I was going through a purple phase awhile back and this skittle was something I came up with while trying to make a plain old crème polish look more interesting. For my index and pinky, I started with two coats of OPI Do you lilac it? before layering a coat of Essence Make it golden. For my middle nail, I applied two coats of Hello Kitty Golden girl and used Australis Blackmail and Do you lilac it? to create the cloud nail art. Finally, on my ring nail and thumb, I applied two coats of Blackmail and layered Savvy by DB purple viking over it.

I absolutely loved the way this manicure turned out and how well this tied together. And just how beautiful does purple viking look layered over a black base! :D

Nail art #1 - Skittling with a twist

Initially, I had thought to simply go with a skittle manicure this time, but after surfing the net for some inspiration, I changed my design to this.
skittles

From pinky to thumb:

Ulta3 Spring Blossom, Ulta3 Spring Fling, China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint, Ulta3 Spring Shower, China Glaze Light as Air. The white dots are Ulta3 Lily White and the glittery silver stripe is Eclipse no.527.

Ulta3 is an Australian drugstore brand, they're easily the cheapest nail polish brand I've come across in Australia. Eclipse is a Korean polish brand, which I found in a Korean shop - Morning Glory.

I'm rather proud of the outcome this time, I love how the colours all come together so well :).

Thanks for dropping by!
