First up I have I'm all ears, an ultra pretty raspberry pink polish filled with gorgeous (!!!) glassflecked shimmer. I found the formula on this one a little runnier than I'm used to from OPI, and I had to be especially careful during application so I wouldn't pool my cuticles. However, the end result really pays off! Photos below show two coats and really, just look at that shimmerrrrrrrrrrr! <3
Nothin' mousie 'bout it is such a complicated beauty, where do even I start with it?! It's packed with gorgeous micro-flakey bits with heart glitter pieces mixed into a sheer pink tint base. The formula was quite different to I'm all ears - I found it much thicker. When the brush came out though, I was loaded with the awesome micro-flakey. I applied one thick coat of it over I'm all ears in the photos below.
My issue with the heart glitter - I not a huge fan of larger glitter pieces in polishes due to their reluctance to leave the bottle. I had to fish for the heart pieces and totally gave up after getting one onto my ring finger. I honestly think the polish could have done without the glitter as it makes the overall look a bit tacky, in my opinion.
I'm so in love with Nothin' mousie 'bout it! I have a feeling this one is going to POP over a black (or darker shaded) base. Definitely be on the lookout for that one! ;)
The OPI Minnie Mouse collection will be available in selected beauty salons June 2012 and David Jones from August 2012 RRP $19.95 incl. GST.
Any thoughts about the two polishes? What do you think of larger glitter pieces?
Thanks for reading.

I own the collection & love them all but I have no Idea how you work with the heart..when I apply them then try to spread/even out the base polish they wipe off/move..any tips doll xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Alice!
ReplyDeleteYou, you bet! :D
ReplyDeleteHmm, one way is to pick out the hearts individually and place them onto your nail with a dotting tool or toothpick manually. This should solve the problem! :)
ReplyDeleteThe glitter? ;)
