Denim saran wrap

Hello hello! Awhile ago, I posted a skittle look with a denim saran wrap and seeing how awesome it looked, I decided to use it as a full manicure :) I started with two coats of Cult Nails Princess, then saran wrapped with China Glaze First mate. Love love loveeeeeeeee the final look :D ♥

I think some golden zipper nail stickers would totally complete the look...now I'll have to be on a look out for them! ;) What do you think of this manicure?

Blue, glitter and black mish mash

Hello hello :) Yes, I totally didn't know how to name this post - the manicure really is rather random. Random, but nice. I really enjoyed wearing it! ♥ And may I add, the saran wrap I did was my favourite. I need to do an entire manicure with the same colour combination soon, the denim look is awesome :D

Pinky: two coats of Cult Nails Princess
Ring: two coats of Princess, then saran wrapped with China Glaze First mate
Middle: two coats of Australis Blackmail. I then taped off my nail and layered Color Club Magic attraction at the base and added the 2mm stud from Born Pretty Store as an accent
Index: three coats of Magic attraction
Thumb: two coats of Princess, stamped with fauxnad m69

Saran wrap and fail stamping

Hello hello :) With this being my second time trying out the saran wrap technique, I was really pleased with the outcome of it. I started with a base colour of OPI Do you lilac it? and letting it dry before taking OPI My very first knockwurst and applying a thick coat of it over Do you lilac it?. I then used my cling wrap to dab over the nail, taking away bits of My very first knockwurst to create the marbled look.

Awesome looking, no? ^^

But because I can't leave the good alone, I just had to stamp over it using fauxnad plate m64.

Which actually wasn't such a bad idea, the final glitter layering just ended up being too much and I promptly removed the manicure. The glitter was LA Colors Starlight.

It totally would have looked okay without the glitter :(

Saran wrap

Hello everyone~ Awhile ago, I came across the saran wrap technique on Nailed It and knew I would have to try it. I altered the technique a little by dabbing the second nail polish onto the first one with some glad wrap rather than taking it off.

I applied two coats of Ulta3 spring shower and waited for it to dry a little. I then took OPI Your royal shine-ness to dab onto the blue base with some scrunched up glad wrap. You can't really tell in the photos, but I swapped this around for my ring finger as an accent nail.

This technique is soo simple and you can achieve such a gorgeous effect with it! Next time I think I'll stick with similar polish finishes and see how it turns out.
