A pink, black and stamping manicure

Hi ladies! I had no idea what to call this manicure, let alone this post :P Hence the lame title. I was actually in the mood for some pink nails (I know, how shocking!) and decided to pull out a couple of the nail polishes from OPI's Minnie Mouse collection - I mean, it's chock full of pink :D

I started off with two coats of the beautiful raspberry pink I'm all ears. Of course like all pinks, my camera spazzes and can't photograph is properly. I already tried to correct it a little but imagine it brighter still with more red in it. Or better yet, go get it, it's AWESOME! ♥ And that's coming from a non-pink nail polish lover :P

Anyway, back to the manicure. On my ring finger and thumb, I applied two coats of Australis Blackmail, then layered a coat of OPI Nothin' mousie 'bout it. Gorgeous! I love the micro flakey look and the black really brings it out. Nothin' mousie 'bout it was also layered over I'm all ears for my pinky and index fingers. I then stamped with fauxnad plate M60 from Born Pretty Store and topped everything off with a topcoat.

I loveeeeeeeeeee the look of NMBI over black and need to try it over other darker shades! As you can see from the bottle photo, there are hearts in the polish too but they're a pain to get out and never stuck to the brush anyway. I think it looks better without the hearts :P

Do you own Nothin' mousie 'bout it? What do you think of the hearts in the polish?

Thanks for reading.

  5. Love this! I like NMBI without the hearts, too. Now if they were mouse heads...different story. :)

  10. Agreed! I find the hearts too much pain to dig out and don't really see how they relate to the Minnie Mouse theme.
