Review: Born Pretty Store stamping plate m81

Hello everyone~ Have you realised by now that I am really getting into stamping? :P I had the opportunity to try out stamping plate m81 carried by Born Pretty Store, which is exactly the same with the original Konad version, minus the brand name on the plate. The plate comes with a blue film covering to protect it and needs to be peeled off before stamping.

I decided to try out the leopard print design since I felt like leopard spots, minus the longer freehand nail art process :P I started off with a skittle base of Ulta3 watermelon, China Glaze Re-fresh mint and Ulta3 spring blossom. I then took my no brand black stamping polish and stamped on the leopard design. I like that it's not a straight out leopard look but broken up with some diagonal stripes.

As you can see, the designs are etched deeply and I don't see this being inferior to the original Konad plate. And for low price of $2.99 you will pay for this, what a great alternative! Born Pretty Store offers free international shipping no matter how much or little you purchase, and with my 10% discount code PIJ61, it'll be even cheaper :)

*Note that I am not compensated if the code is used - rather, if it is used 10 times, Born Pretty Store will sponsor a giveaway (it has been used 9 times since the publishing of this post)*

I know I'll be playing around more with this plate. I already have an idea in mind with one of the plate designs ;)

What do you think of these cheap plate alternatives?

Thanks for reading.
