Swatches and review: Orly Mash Up collection

Hi ladies :) Today I have a couple of pretty nail polish from Orly's Mash Up collection. This collection consists of 6 bright and eye catching shades each utterly different to each other. They certainly live up to the 'mash up' name!

First up is Sparkling garbage. There is nothing gross or disgusting about this polish - in fact, I don't know why it's even named sparkling garbage because it's the last thing you'll ever associate with it. I mean, there's the most gorgeous seafoam green base which is sheer, but it's absolutely loaded with tiny holographic glitter particles. I went with three thin coats of Sparkling garbage and it's looks so squishy and amazing ♥

Next is Pretty ugly, a light aqua blue shimmer. Again, such a strange name! This polish anything but ugly. I found this one was also a little sheer and I went with two thicker coats and one thinner coat in my application.

The other four nail polishes from the collection are:
  • Choreographed chaos - a bubblegum pink chrome
  • Harmonious mess - lavender crème
  • Mayhem mentality - vibrant orange crème
  • Beautiful disaster - magenta chrome
The Mash Up collection will be available in August 2013 across Australia. Each bottle will retail for $18.95 and can be purchased from selected pharmacies, salons and on www.orlybeauty.com.au.

What do you think of the two nail polishes featured? Are you a fan of their names?

Thanks for reading!

  2. Lovely swatches. I didn't realize that blue had shimmer in it. I may grab it if it hits the clearance bin!

  3. They cost $18.95 in Australia?! Eeek! Here in the US they're roughly $7 - $9. I don't know how you Aussie gals keep up with the polish trends at those prices!
