Swatches and review: Orly Secret Society collection

Hi ladies :) I have two of the stunning polishes from Orly's newest Secret Society collection to share with you all today!

First up I have Masked ceremony, described to be a "sophisticated charcoal with holographic shimmer". I was definitely quite excited for this one and it looks absolutely glorious in the bottle. Unfortunately, this is one of those polishes which fall flat when applied onto the nail. The dark and fairly opaque base covers up a lot of the beautiful glitters, especially the pink ones! My swatch shows two effortless coats.

Next up is Macabre masquerade, a very pretty blue based glitter. Orly describes it as a "midnight blue with red and silver glitter". I found the base to be a little too sheer so I decided to layer it over OPI Keeping Suzi at bay (previously swatched here). All I can say is, run and grab this one! The glitters are so beautiful in this unique concoction ♥

The rest of the collection features:
  • What's the password; a burnt orange with golden shimmer
  • Lavish bash; a clear base with tiny gold and silver glitter flecks
  • Voyeurustic adventure; an ultra glam taupe foil shimmer
  • Risqué encounter; a perfect strong red crème
Orly Secret Society collectionis now available in Australia. Each bottle retails for $18.95 and can be found in selected pharmacies and salons, as well as online at www.orlybeauty.com.au.

I'm really loving the look of Macabre masquerade, it's such a beautiful glitter. If only Masked ceremony had a sheerer base colour - I would definitely love it more!

What do you think of this collection so far?

Thanks for reading!
