Neon flowers

Hello~I'm short on words so I'll get right into it today. I applied two coats of Ulta3 lily white and then took Orly Beach cruiser, Glowstick, Melt your popsicle and Skinny dip for a random neon coloured base. I stamped a design from BM-225 with Ulta3 black satin before sealing it with a top coat.

I decided to add a OPI Matte top coat afterwards - I think I much more prefer this look! OPI may appear late to the matte bandwagon in terms of top coats but it sure doesn't disappoint! I love how flat and well...matte it makes my nails look :)

Super colourful nails! In fact, they were a little too bright, so I took them off the next day :P Are you a bright nails type of gal or do you prefer the most subtle and neutral looks?

Thanks for reading.

  7. Thanks Courtney! I think I may prefer the matte a little more, because it tones down the boldness of neon shades ;)

  10. How did you do the neon base? Was it sponge or the water color technique maybe? Or am I way off lol.

  11. Yep, the neon shades were sponged onto a white base :) I then stamped over it with a black polish.
