Black & grey gradient, with a hint of silver

Hello everyone :) This is my second attempt at a gradient manicure and I'm pretty in love with it! I started with two coats of Rimmel Grey matter, then applied the gradient with Australis Blackmail. I reversed the colours for my thumb and ring finger. Then, I felt an urge to stamp, so I took out Rimmel Your majesty, an awesome silver polish and stamped with it. I used plate C09, purchased two years ago and collecting dust. Never again! :D I have discovered the joy of stamping ;)

(Please excuse the messy cuticles - my top coat pulled the nail polish :()

I love how the butterfly image is such a contrast to the black and grey backdrop - we don't normally associate butterflies or even flowers for the matter with such colours. It's almost saddening and an admit to defeat...gosh I feel artistic all of a sudden :P

What are your thoughts on this manicure? I'd love to hear them!

Thanks for reading.
