Flakey layering

Hey everyone~ It's been such a windy and cold day today - brrrrr, still freezing! And so I battled the cool weather with my warm, navy blue and topped it with some gorgeous flakies. I love me some flakies :D. Shown is two coats of China Glaze First mate and one coat of Nubar 2010 layered over it.

Gosh, I can't get over how fabulous flakies look. If Nfu. Oh's were cheaper, I'd have bottles of flakies hoarded up. If only. Nail polish companies need to start the flakey trend, I'm starting to get really sick of crackles... >< What do you think of the beautiful Nubar 2010?

Glam Slam! England

Hi everyone~ Today I have for you one of the beautiful duo packs from Serena William's Glam Slam! England collection :) With OPI working with so many different people recently, this was one of the few collections which caught my attention. Shown below is two coats of Your royal shine-ness. It's a lovely silver foil which I don't own many of in my stash so it was most definitely welcomed!

I then layered on one coat of Servin' up sparkle. I love, love, love this glitter ♥

And under the sun, see the holo glitters come to life!

I can't wait to layer the glitter over other shades. It's going to be amazing :)

Australian Series: Iron Ore

Hello~ :) Since posting my list of Top 10 polishes and seeing no Australian brands making it onto the list, I realised just how little I showcase my appreciation for them. On top of that, it appears they don't receive as much love as other brands in the blogosphere and as a result, I'll be starting a theme on Australian brand nail polish. Definitely refer to my Australian series tag to check out the series of posts!

First up I'd like to show you Face of Australia Iron Ore. When I first laid eyes on the Molten Metalics (LE) collection, I was instantly captivated by pretty silver shimmer swimming in the molten black pool. I definitely wasn't disappointed! Shown below is two coats. The polish was slightly thick, but it wasn't to the point where it is hard to work with.

This is definitely a different take to your classic black and I'm loving it! Iron ore can be purchased in Priceline, Kmart, Big W and selected pharmacies across Australia. As for international ladies, don't fret! The lovely people over at Fashion Addict stock the polish and also ship internationally! Be sure to hurry as this is a limited edition collection so they're only available while stocks last.

OMG, IDK!! :D

Helloooo~ :) It's another partly cloudy, partly sunny day with a sprinkle of strong wind every now and then :P But nothing can really dampen my good mood cos I've got a super duper holographic nail polish and loving it loadsssss ♥

China Glaze IDK is a part of the OMG collection which consists of linear holographic nail polish. Holo! :D I applied two thin coats but I think three would have been better. Oh well. I still think this looks gorgeous.

All the photos are big because I adore this polish :)

What do you think? Nail polish companies should be making more holos, we just can't get enough of them! :P

Purple and flowers

Hey everyone~ :) I know I said in my last post I'm sick, but I couldn't resist changing my mani so...yeah :P I decided to combine my favourite colour with my favourite nail art - purple and flowers!

The beautiful flowers need to be credited to Jessie over at Jelly's Nails. Click on the link for a video tutorial! The flowers may look complex but they are basically just 5 dots... :D. Gotta love simplicity ♥
