Is this pink too hot for you?

Hello~ :) Just a quick post, I really shouldn't be blogging but I am in need of a distraction from my assignment. Grr.

fiesta

This is two coats of Orly Fiesta. My photo isn't colour accurate (it seems to have more trouble with pinks than purples - strange!), the shade of pink has more red in it and it is seriously bright. I'm not a hot pink type of girl so I pulled out my Black shatter to hide some of the brightness :P.
fiesta with black shatter

My Black shatter came out reallyyyyyyy clumpy on my left hand, which is why I'm showing my right hand. I've discovered that the polish around the neck of the bottle are drying as I take the brush out to paint my nails with and it's affecting the polish on the brush since I swipe at the neck to get rid of excess polish :(. Argh. Is this a problem for anyone else or is it just me?

  1. I haven't experienced the issue you have, yet. But, I can see how it would do that.

The pink IS hot but putting on the shatter...stellar!

  2. Kimberly: Thank you :). I rather like the look of the pink under the crack polish - bases which really pop look so cool! And hopefully you won't have any issues with your Black Shatter.
