I'm not sure I quite like how my water marbling turned out; I really have had better. Somehow the red on white polish gives my nails a rather bloody look.
Polishes used:
Maybelline Colorama Candy Apple
Ulta3 Lily White
I don't like the positioning on my first finger ,and the frustrating thing is that I had quite a nice pattern for it too. I got over-anxious, I suppose :/. Topcoat (Ulta3 Non-chip) also streaked the red polish, even though it was applied after awhile.
Thanks for dropping by.

You are so talented! I tried about 4 time WM my nails but it was a total disaster|! :(
ReplyDeleteAlice: *blushes* That's really sweet of you ^^. My water marbling is still a hit and miss for me, but I'm working to improve on it :).
ReplyDeleteJackie S.: Thanks!
This reminds me of Brach's peppermint candy. :)
ReplyDeleteYou did a really nice job too.
Oh I wish you liked it more. I think its fabulous. Its one of the most uniform water marbles I've seen. Beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteKimberly: Funny, my brother also said something along similar lines; he commented that my nails looked like candy canes :P.

I really like this, I think it's so pretty. I'm only just learning how to do this myself. So far, I'm finding that the cheapest brand available in the States is the best one for this technique: Wet n Wild.
ReplyDeleteWater marbling is definitely a beautiful technique. Practice makes perfect - and also helps you figure out which polishes may not work so well, hehe.
ReplyDeletei cant believe u didnt like how this turned out! i keep using this photo for inspiration but cant seem to make the same designs u made. i love it!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's so sweet of you! ^^ I hope my lack of water marbling hasn't made it too rusty, I plan on trying it out when I have the time again!
