Cult Nails Princess

Hey everyone! I was in the mood for a softer blue shade, so I decided to pull out the pretty Cult Nails Princess to wear. I love the light periwinkle blue with the most gorgeous shimmery flecks.

A glittery princess

Hello hello! A short and sweet post for today :) I pulled out Cult Nails Princess to wear and decided to add a glitter gradient using OPI Which is witch?, ending up with a soft, glittery and pretty princess-y nail look ♥

I attempted a one stroke rose look on my thumb but it didn't turn out the best... :P How do some ladies make them look so effortless and pretty?!

Here's a close up look of Which is witch? because of how sparkly and gorgeous it looks :)

Have you tried the one stroke look before?

Thanks for reading as always!

Denim saran wrap

Hello hello! Awhile ago, I posted a skittle look with a denim saran wrap and seeing how awesome it looked, I decided to use it as a full manicure :) I started with two coats of Cult Nails Princess, then saran wrapped with China Glaze First mate. Love love loveeeeeeeee the final look :D ♥

I think some golden zipper nail stickers would totally complete the look...now I'll have to be on a look out for them! ;) What do you think of this manicure?

The perfect flakey layering

Hello hello! Not many words today, I'll let the photos do most of the talking. I applied two coats of Ulta3 gooseberry and then layered with two coats of Cult Nails Seduction. Love! ♥ The flakies shift into so many colours and kept me busy staring at them ;)

Adding a matte top coat makes the manicure look darker. In this case, I much more prefer the glossy look :)

Cult Nails Spontaneous

Hello hello :) After all the stamping and nail art recently, I felt like a slight palette cleanser and went with a simple nail of the day look. Cue Cult Nails Spontaneous. It's purple and has a shimmer, what's not to love? Well, so I thought. This polish dried extremely gritty (even for my taste!) and I was quite disappointed with the fact that the beautiful shimmer I thought this polish consisted of was in fact small flecks of glitter. Which dried gritty. Photos show two layers of thick top coat over two coats of Spontaneous, and even then it's not completely even to touch.

I really wanted to love this one, but I'm not so sure about it any more. Have you ever bought a nail polish which was gorgeous in the bottle only to be let down after applying it?

Thanks for reading.

Purple and green nail art mash post

Hi everyone! Yes, clearly I didn't know how to name this post either :P Another manicure I rather liked but I felt it may have had a little too many differences - should have split them up into two different looks haha. Anyway, here's what I put together :)

Pinky: two coats of Face of Australia Titanium
Ring: two coats of OPI Thanks a windmillion, stamped with m69 and accented with silver nail art polish
Middle: one coat of Rimmel Your majesty, then painted the braided design with Thanks a windmillion and Parlez-vous OPI?
Index: two coats of OPI Parlez-vous OPI? layered with Cult Nails Seduction
Thumb: two coats of Thanks a windmillion, then taped off and one thick coat of Parlez-vous OPI?. Hearts painted with a dotting tool and with Australis Blackmail and Titanium

I think I may try the thumb design again some time soon. It felt like a bit too much with the manicure on the whole but I like it enough to give it another go. What do you think? :) Oh, please take the time to like Polish Infatuated on facebook too!

Blue, glitter and black mish mash

Hello hello :) Yes, I totally didn't know how to name this post - the manicure really is rather random. Random, but nice. I really enjoyed wearing it! ♥ And may I add, the saran wrap I did was my favourite. I need to do an entire manicure with the same colour combination soon, the denim look is awesome :D

Pinky: two coats of Cult Nails Princess
Ring: two coats of Princess, then saran wrapped with China Glaze First mate
Middle: two coats of Australis Blackmail. I then taped off my nail and layered Color Club Magic attraction at the base and added the 2mm stud from Born Pretty Store as an accent
Index: three coats of Magic attraction
Thumb: two coats of Princess, stamped with fauxnad m69

Ring: layered with The Face Shop BL801

My first Cult Nails! :)

Hi everyone :) I'm really excited to show my recent Cult Nails purchase! I've been eyeing some of the nail polishes for some time and when my last top coat ran low, I caved and bought some polishes, along with Wicket Fast. Which, by the way, is Wicked fast! ;) If you've been following me on facebook then you'll have seen this already, but for those of you who don't, here are the pics of the haul :)

I just adore the way my purchase was packaged in such an environmentally friendly way. I either recycle the packaging or in the case of the cotton balls, use them to remove my old nail polish ;)

From left to right, top to bottom:

Did I mention that I stocked up on the treatments? :P

Here are some quick swatches of the nail polishes on my swatch sticks. Be sure to check out my manis in the following posts which will feature them! :)

Hmmm, I should do a post of my swatch sticks one day too.... :P What do you think of my choices? Do you own any Cult nail polishes? Don't forget to like my facebook page too ^^
