Hello hello :) I must have shown Orly High on hope several times on the blog by now, but I never tire of wearing this shade - it's that gorgeous ♥ The beautiful shimmer gives the deep blue such an interesting finish that I find myself constantly staring at my nails throughout the day.
Do you own this pretty?

Picture Polish Blog Fest 2014!
Hello everyone :) I have the distinct pleasure and honour to be a part of Australian company Picture Polish's annual Blog Fest - a day where nail bloggers post about the beautiful Picture Polish nail polishes. This year, the event has expanded to the instagram platform as well, so you may be seeing a number of photos which are dedicated towards this today!
The blog fest post is split into two parts - Part 1 will feature a Picture Polish shade and Part 2 will reveal a nail art creation using two nail polishes and nail vinyls.
Part 1:
Picture Polish Scarlett is a gorgeous red holographic nail polish. It flowed easily onto my nails and was opaque in two coats. There's really nothing more to say about this besides to run and get yourself your own Scarlett! Such a beautiful red ♥
Part 2:
Vegas and Electric blue were the stars of this chevron nail art look.
On my ring and middle nails, I sponged on the two shades. Once the base was dry, I took some mini chevron nail vinyls and stuck them on top, before applying black and white onto each nail respectively and then peeling off the vinyls. For my pinky and index nails, I reversed the look, sponging on black and white as the base before applying Vegas and Electric blue onto each respective nail.
I actually love the way my ring finger turned out and will be making a full manicure with this in the future!
Picture Polish will be retailing a special exclusive 4 pack ‘Nail Vinyls’ containing ‘Chevrons, Mini Chevrons, Straight & Right Angles that will be used by all participants this year! Check out more information about the vinyls here:

Purple and green leopard
Hi ladies :) Here is a super simple skittle manicure I put together using my new favourite green - Ulta3 On the green. I decided to combine it with Nicole by OPI Love song and OPI My vampire is buff.
What do you think of this look?

Ulta3: Celebrating 100 shades
Hi everyone~ New nail shape alert! :) I decided to give the oval look but I'm not sure if I love it too much.
Anyway, here are my thoughts on Ulta3's 10 new additions to their current nail polish range - making it a total of 100 shades available now! All of my swatches show two coats.
Cloud nine is a nice and light neutral. I know I'll be using this often as a base for nail art.
Untold secret is a pink-tinged neutral which surprisingly looks good against my skin tone. Yay, another wearable pink added to my list! :)
Wild heart - is it a purple-y brown or a brown-y purple? I'm not sure of how to describe it. A nice shade fit for the cooler months though.
It's a bit grey is a dark grey. Another nice shade for the cooler months here in Australia right now!
Hearts desire, what a nice change to the darker shades! I love this brighter raspberry shade :)
Moody blues, how what a beautiful blue you are! I love these shades of blues and can never get enough of them, so expect to see this lots on the blog ;)
Pop art is definitely one of my favourite shades of the collection. It's actually not too colour accurate here, picture a brighter pink instead.
Rising sun is a nice dusty red shade which suits the cool weather. It's not too in your face, so nice start for those venturing out into the red nail shades.
On the green has shot up my favourite green list and become number one! A lovely toned down mint look, I love that it doesn't make my fingers look red too.
Purple primrose is the only shimmer in the collection. I'm not a huge fan of red-toned purples, so I feel a little meh towards this one.
All in all though, a nice round up of 10 new Ulta3 shades to add to the collection! I know I'll be making use of the many crèmes in future nail art.

Watermelon gradient
Hello hello~ This nail look was put together after I felt the need to try out a bright neon gradient...too bad the outcome was just a tad too bright for my usual taste :P A maybe a little too like a watermelon haha.
I started with a white base, then used Frenz Nail Flus12 (pink), Flus03 (yellow) and Flus24 (green) to create the gradient look. I finished the look with a thick coat of FACE it CMX324 and Ulta3 Stop the press.
I took this off after I snapped the photos but I'm sure braver ladies can wear this look :)

Green and gold skittle
Hey there :) Wow, this manicure was put together a while ago so please bear with me as I try to recall the nail polishes used! I believe the mint green is Essie Turquoise & Caicos, the gold foil is Hello Kitty Golden girl, the gold glitter is OPI My favourite ornament and the holographic sparkle on my pinky is Orly Sparkling garbage.
I love the mint green and gold combination here, makes me want to do something with these colours again!

Sew psyched i reached my gold
Hey! Lame title aside, here is a layering combination I put together using Essie Sew psyched and OPI I reached my gold. Honestly, gold with anything makes for a beautiful combination :D
I don't think I will ever tire of layering glitters over crème bases - they instantly glitz up the look so well :)
