Blue and neutral cheetah
Hello everyone~ When I first received OPI Pure 18K white gold & silver top coat, I knew I would have to try it over a dark base. I pulled out China Glaze First mate to pair with the special top coat, as well as a neutral base (OPI My vampire is buff) to make the accent nails pop more. To glam up the neutral nails a little bit, I fished out some glitter pieces from OPI I snow you love me.
I really liked how soft but glamourous this manicure looked. I just love my new OPI 18K top coat so much ♥♥
Do you own this top coat? What do you think of it?

Swatches & review: BGirl nail polish
Hello everyone! If you're a fan of crème based polishes mixed with glitter particles, then the following polishes would definitely interest you :) These BGirl Yoghurt nail polishes don't have names so you'll have to make do with my descriptions :P
First up is a pinky-purple based shade with yellow, purple, pink and silver glitter pieces. I thought initially that it would clash terribly with my skin tone (pinks look really bad on me for some reason), but the purple tinge in it helps it look so much better. This was two coats.
Next is a pastel green mixed with orange, green, purple and silver glitters. This one was pretty streaky and I could have benefited with a third coat to even up the finish.
A pastel blue mixed with coral-pink, blue, yellow and silver glitters is another of my favourites. This was two coats and covered nicely.
There is one last orange shade included in the four piece set, but I seem to have lost my photos of it! I'll try to update this post with the swatches later.
Each bottle contains 6ml of nail polish. The set of four retail for $7.99 and you can find it on Born Pretty Store's website under 4pcs/Set Sparkle Yogurt Milky Glitter Nail Art Polishes F Series.
Are you a fan of this milky glitter look?

Revlon Royal Cloak
Hi ladies :) Here is a quick post featuring the beautiful Revlon Royal cloak. Every time I pick this up to wear (which isn't often enough!), I am reminded of how I almost passed this pretty up. I'm glad I decided to pick it up from the Revlon bins in a Gloss shop in the end, because it's such a gorgeous shade! ♥
Are you now the proud owner of a polish you almost didn't buy? Which one was it? ;)

Swatch & review: Gelicious Little Prince George
Hi ladies. Today I have a new-to-me brand to share with you. Gelicious is an Australian based brand which specialises in hybrid gel products. I received Little Prince George along with the Mani-Pedi UV LED lamp and a top coat (see here)to review and my, what a gorgeous shade this is! It is inspired by the blue polka dot dress Kate Middleton wore when presenting Prince George to the world.
I first prepped my nails by washing them with soap and then quickly swiped them with some nail polish remover to ensure my nails were oil free. Gelicious states that base coat is optional, but I am not used to not applying one, so I took my trusty China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat and applied a thin coat.
I applied my first coat of Little Prince George and cured it for 30 seconds. The lamp doesn't have a timer so I used my phone instead. In terms of formula, I found it a little tricky to work with. The glitter tended to drag the polish around, so I had to be careful and dab it back into place. However, the second and third coats presented no issues since the base was thoroughly dry by the time I added the following coats. I finished it all with the gel top coat and then took a non-acetone based nail polish remover to wipe off the sticky residue.
All up, the entire process took me 30 minutes. You have to take into account though that I am still new to the gel nail polish experience, so I did fiddle around with it for a bit. Otherwise, I'm sure it would have taken me half the time, with rock hard, dry nails within that short time frame too! You really can't ask for more ;)
Little Prince George currently comes in a package, which includes the shade, a top coat and the mani-pedi lamp. The package is available for $129. Otherwise, if you're just after the gel polish, you can grab it for $29. Gelicious offers both domestic and international shipping - you can view details of prices on their Delivery Information page.
Have you tried gel nail polishes before? What was your experience with them?
Thanks for reading as always!

Shopping the Stash: J for Julie
Hello ladies :) Another letter which I do not own a brand with so I had to go with a nail polish name. This is the beautiful Shimmer Polish Julie. I don't remember the base colour I layered it over but I have a feeling it was OPI You're such a Budapest.
Two more letters until I once again own a nail polish brand beginning with the letter! Can't wait.. :P

When red and black meet
Hello everyone :) I really should get my act together - my backlog of photos is starting in pile up again!
Whenever I feel the urge to pull out black nail polish to wear, I always seem to pair it with another shade - and this time is no different :P I applied two coats of Picture Polish O'Hara and then created a gradient with Ulta3 black satin on my index and pinky nails. On my middle nail, I have two coats of black satin layered with Orly Rockets red glare.
Do you wear black often? How do you prefer to wear it?

Purple ombre nail art
Hello ladies. I'm not 100% sure of the way today's nail look turned out. For some reason, it looked so much better when I was planning it out in my head. Maybe I just have bad execution skills lol.
Pinky: Two coats of OPI Siberian nights.
Ring: Two coats of Ulta3 glamourpuss.
Middle: Nail art created with all four shades and a white striper brush.
Index: Two coats of OPI Do you lilac it?
Thumb: Two coats of Essie St Lucia lilac.
Pinky, index & thumb are all topped with OPI I juggle...men.
Maybe it was the terrible nail art, or the weird cracking I got from layering I juggle...men. I just don't feel this look at all. What do you think?
Thanks for reading.

Soft, girly dreamcatcher
Hi ladies. Today's nails has a little back story, so please bear with me ;)
So here I am, casually browsing facebook and I see my friend has 'liked' a Korean drama called 'The Heirs'. Curious me checks it out and am hooked with the storyline. Cliched rich-boy-meets-poor-girl-plot, cute actors, pretty actresses and a few familiar faces on screen (what can I say, I've been out of the K-drama loop for awhile!)...I'm a goner.
Anyway, the drama has a dreamcatcher in it - which is pretty significant - so I just had to create a manicure with it ^^ I started with three coats of OPI Don't burst my bubble and then stamped the image on BM-407 with Rimmel Your majesty. To tie in the soft and girly look, I layered OPI Pirouette my whistle on my middle nail and thumb, and then added rhinestones onto my index & pinky nails.
And the inspiration behind this manicure :)
Needless to say, I adored this look ♥

Splatter mint nails
Hi ladies. I think one of the designs I was most looking forward to when I saw the images on Bundle Monster's Create Your Own stamping set, was the splatter design. I applied three coats of Essence Always in my mint and layered a coat of Savvy by DB Razzle & Dazzle over the top. I love this A-England She walks in beauty dupe - so need to wear it more often! Taking my trusty Ulta3 black satin, I stamped the splatter design from BM-416.
I think I may have over done it with the glitter layering and the stamping, so I wasn't too happy with the end result. Still, I can't wait to use this image more! :)

Sparkly, cat nails :)
Hi ladies! Here is another manicure I put together using Bundle Monster's newest plate collection. I started with two coats of OPI My vampire is buff - a gorgeous off white shade which I can't stop reaching for! I stamped the design from BM-412 with Ulta3 black satin and then added some glitter using Australis Carnivale chaos. Finish off with some studs and voilà :)
I'm really proud of the way it turned out and adore how the rainbow glitters stood out against the clean base shade. What do you think of this look?

Shopping the stash: I for...?
Hello ladies :) I came to a dilemma (which I kind of foresaw but didn't have a solution for initially) when I reached the letter 'I' because I don't own a nail polish brand beginning with it. So what to do? Why, find nail polish names which begin with it instead ;) To make up for this, I found two nail polishes which fitted this category - OPI Incognito in Sausalito and OPI I lily love you.
I'm really loving how I get the chance to play with the nail polishes which I sometimes neglect with this Shopping the Stash series :)
