Dannii, you're delightful

Hi everyone~! I have the most delightful polish to show today :) Dannii is from Zoya's Initimate collection which was released earlier this year as part of the spring collection. This shade of purple is more cool toned and not normally one I prefer - I like my dark and vampy purples, I do :P However, the beautiful silver flecks really drew me in and I gave in to purchasing this.

Dannii definitely doesn't disappoint (how's that for alliteration? :P)! I love the lightness of the purple with the cool shade, what a perfect combo :D

What do you think of this polish - hot or not? :)

Glam Slam! England press release

Hey~^^ One of the nail polish collections which has caught my eyes recently is OPI's collaboration with Serena Williams and producing the Glam Slam! England collection and today I have the Aussie press release info of it!
Get “Unbeatable” Wimbledon Sparkle!
Serena Williams’ Glam Slam! England

The style-savvy athlete and talented manicurist announces yet another collaboration with OPI offering 2 bold metallic shades and a sparkling glitter overlay; colours shades fit for royalty.”

The third installment to William’s collection of lacquers in collaboration with OPI, celebrates the world’s oldest, most prestigious tennis tournament at Wimbledon; Glam Slam! England features two duo-packs filled with sparkle.

Williams states, "Whether I'm on or off the court, style is important. In addition to watching the runways for the latest trends, I think it's important to add my own unique elements and I love experimenting with different glitter shades.”

England’s premier tennis tournament warrants colours with extra glitz and glamour. The next big trend in nails is making lacquer look 3-dimensional by adding different micas and glitters, turning fingertips into jewellery.
The first lacquer set in the Glam Slam! England includes Your Royal Shine-ness, a metallic silver shade, paired with Servin’ Up Sparkle, a shimmer-packed silver glitter.

The second lacquer set also features Servin’ Up Sparkle, along with Grape…Set…Match, a metallic purple.

The new Glam Slam! England lacquers can be worn alone for a bright pop of color, or layered with Servin’ Up Sparkle to create a textured effect.
Glam Slam! England is available in leading salons and David Jones stores nationally July 11th, $19.95 RRP. For your nearest OPI stockists contact 1800 358 999 or visit www.opi.net.au.
Ahhhh, I'm loving the look of Grape...Set...Match! (although it's a huge pain to type! :P). What a gorgeous looking purple polish! Servin' Up Sparkle looks like a silver version of Teenage dream and Last friday night, which are of course LOVE ♥ Now the decision is: to get my hands on this or save up money? Ahh, dilemma :P

Neon, to fight the gloom

Hi everyone~ :) All last week was filled with rain, rain and more rain over here so I thought I'd fight the gloominess with a bright neon manicure :P.

I used two coats of Sportsgirl Citrus and as with all neons it was sheer, so I started off with one coat of Ulta3 lily white before layering Citrus over it. I applied a coat of OPI Black shatter to soften the brightness a bit ^^
orange cracked

Apologies for the lobster fingers but this was the only photo which showed the true shade of the polish. Personally I'm a bit too afraid of drawing attention to neon shades on my tips so I think shatter/crackle polishes are awesome for layering over them :). What do you think?

Rose water decals

Hello~ :) Woohoo, I've finally finished exams and am ready to party haha ♥ I wore this mani into my exam and was constantly distracted by it...good thing it was an easy exam :P The full nail water decals are from Viva la nails and part of the blogger sample pack I received awhile ago.

I spent waaay too much time trying to get the water decals to work though, they just refused to dry and stick onto my nails! :( And on top of that, I ruined my pinky one and had to make do with left over decals. Because of the oopsies I made, I used some rhinestones and bullion beads I received from Born Pretty Store - a nail art etailer - to cover them up. I loove the rhinestones, they're so easy to use :)

And a picture of the rhinestone wheel. My favourite has got to be the beautiful light blue under the purple rhinestones on the left. It seriously flashes so many colours ♥

A pink manicure

Hello~ :) As most of you know, I'm not a fan of pink or reds on my nails. So I really don't know why I decided to pick out a rare pink nail polish in my stash for this mani :P. I applied two coats of Ulta3 natural spring which is a sheer, pastel pink polish. I then layered two coats of OPI Teenage dream over it, giving it some bling with the beautiful holographic glitter. I had to adjust the photo a bit because the polish came out too light, hence the slightly redder fingers!
piiink!

piiink!2

What do you think of it this mani? I wore this for one and half days before I took it off. For some reason, I just don't like how pink looks on my nails. Anywhere else is fine, just not for a mani :P
